The End of the Beginning

So we’re in! Just before Halloween, the trucks came, the storage unit was emptied, and we’re officially home. And it feels good!

Theres still lots of lingering little things to get done, and we definitely rushed our builder a bit to move in before the Holidays, but nothing that’s left is stopping us from enjoying our home.

We’re getting unpacked… slowly.

We’re building out the girls closets so they can stop living out of boxes.

We’re enjoying the heaters on the front porch as the weather turns brisk.

The End of The Beginning

So we still have a few little things left that we’re working through with the builder – a few fans to install, some paint to touch up, a bit of trim thats missing.

And of course we have a lot of furniture that needs buying. Rugs. Blinds. But we can slow down a bit. Enjoy coffee in the morning. Wake up in our home again for the first time in almost two years. Catch our breath.
