A good friend of a friend has been getting pretty good at 3d modeling and render offered to model some of our rooms, and it has BLOWN MY MIND.
Here’s a couple shots of our great room that he has modeled, with different lighting at different times of day, playing with some textures, and it has made me more excited than EVER for the build.
Of course this is using stock textures and mocked-up furniture, but it has made things so much more real. Its so hard to understand how big a room is, how deep the space is, until you get furniture in.
In particular, the shiplap on the fireplace structure is blowing my mind. It’s an area I was concerned about, because its a couple of weird dimensions, but this has made it look amazing!
More to come… hopefully some digging this week, although the rain just keeps on coming!
